Box Score 2 FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Greenville women's tennis team earned a pair of wins on Saturday, defeating Indiana Southeast in a tight 4-3 match before securing a 5-2 victory over Franklin.

In their first match of the day, the Panthers secured the doubles point over Indiana Southeast with
Elena Warren and
Lauren Brannon coming through at No. 3, winning their match 6-4.

In singles, Greenville faced early challenges, dropping first sets in four of the six matches.
Emily Kowalke led the response on Court No. 3 earning a 6-1, 6-0 victory while Evie Johnson got her own convincing 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6.

With the match tied at 3-3,
Lanie Carder delivered in a clutch moment battling to a 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-2) victory to clinch the 4-3 team win.

Against Frankin, the Panthers once again clinched the doubles point with decisive wins on the top two courts.

Irlanda Oliver came out strong in singles, winning her match on Court No. 1, 6-4, 6-3. Carder followed in the No. 2 spot, earning a 6-2, 6-0 victory.
Lily Gregory came out on top in a hard-fought match on Court No. 4, 6-0, 5-7, 1-0 (12-10) while Evie Johnson collected a win on court No. 6 to seal the Panther second team win of the day.
