ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The women's tennis team competed in the UMAC South Tournament on Saturday, blanking both Westminster and MUW 4-0 to secure the UMAC South title and advance to the finals as the No. 1 seed.

Greenville's dominant performance against Westminster featured the Panthers not dropping a single game en route to the championship.
Lanie Carder and
Lily Gregory secured a 6-0 win on Court No. 2 to clinch the doubles point.
In singles,
Lanie Carder,
Evaline Johnson, and
Emily Kowalke all dominated their courts, each winning 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Panthers to the finals.
Against MUW, Greenville was nearly just as dominant. In doubles,
Irlanda Oliver and
Emily Kowalke secured a 6-0 win on Court No. 1, while
Lanie Carder and
Lily Gregory were victorious 6-1 on Court No. 2.
Lauren Brannon and
Jaidyn Goode added a 6-0 victory on Court No. 3 to give Greenville a 1-0 lead.
In singles, Carder won 6-0, 6-0 on Court No. 2, Gregory followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win on Court No. 4, and Evie Johnson clinched the match for the Panthers with a 6-0, 6-0 victory on Court No. 5.

Greenville (16-7, 4-0 UMAC) travels to Minneapolis next weekend to compete for the UMAC title.
