ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's track and field team faced some tough competition this past weekend at the WashU Invite as they kicked off their outdoor season. Despite the high level of talent across the field, the Panthers were just as talented and rose to the challenge and delivered several outstanding performances.

Competing in a stacked field, the Panthers left with two third-place finishes and an impressive first-place victory. Leading the way was our All-American
Keenan Powell, who continued his dominance with a competition high by taking the crown in the men's triple jump with a mark of 14.49m. His performance set the tone for the team and highlighted the strength the Panthers bring into the outdoor season.

The Panthers also saw success in the men's long jump, where basketball phenom Tim Lofton secured a third-place finish with a mark of 6.66m, showing his versatility and athleticism.
Freshman Ty Kellum made an immediate impact in the field, blazing to a third-place finish in the 100m dash with an impressive time of 10.53.
