JACKSONVILLE, Ill. — Greenville men's track and field delivered an impressive day of results Saturday at the 2026 Jim Green Invite hosted by Illinois College, stacking event wins and podium finishes across the meet.
How it Happened:
The Panthers were dominant in the sprints, beginning with a 1-2 finish in the 60m dash. Ty Kellum captured first in 6.97s, followed closely by
Neko Gibson in second (7.05s).
Gavin Baldwin added a fifth-place finish (7.09) and
Collin Robinson placed seventh (7.19).
Gibson also showed out in the 200m, placing third with a time of 23.17s.Â
Greenville stayed hot in the 400m, where
Jaylin Morrow won the event in 51.46s and
Noel Andino finished second in 51.52s.
Ben Wilcoxen (53.46s) and
Ben Hornaday (53.91s) rounded out a strong group in seventh and eighth.
In the middle distances,
Will Patzia won the 800m in 2:00.66, while
Kaden Einhorn placed second in the mile (4:30.48) and also competed in the 800m.
Kyle Cooley finished sixth in the mile at 4:36.17.
Greenville's jumpers also stood out, led by
Keenan Powell placing second in the triple jump (14.49m) and third in the long jump (6.56m).
Leonard Bratton added third in the triple jump (14.29m).
Christian Duplayee took third in the pole vault with a 3.50m attempt.Â
The Panthers closed the meet in style, winning the 4x400 relay in 3:26.74.
