Box Score 2 CEDAR RAPIDS, IA- The men's tennis team traveled to Coe on Saturday, falling 7-0 in the opening match of the day. The Panthers responded in dominant fashion in their second match, defeating Wartburg with a 7-0 sweep of their own.

How it Happened:
Against Coe, the Panthers dropped all three doubles matches in closely contested battles.
Colton Hulme and
Jean Sanabria fell 5-7 on Court No. 1. The No. 2 and No. 3 doubles teams were also defeated by scores of 4-6 and 3-6, respectively.
In singles play, Greenville started slow, dropping five of six first sets. Freshman Noah Garcia and sophomore
Jade Dynamic each pushed their opponents to a third-set battle but ultimately came up short.
Despite the early setback, Greenville rebounded later in the day with a decisive 7-0 victory over Wartburg. The Panthers swept all three doubles courts to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
Greenville continued its momentum in singles, winning all six matches, including three that went to a third set. Sophomore
Colton Hulme earned his first career victory at the No. 1 position, battling to a 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-3) win.
Freshmen
Patrick Nobbe and
Kai Gustafson also secured impressive three-set victories to complete the sweep.
Up Next:
Greenville (2-4) travels to Bloomington, Ill on February 28 to battle Olivet Nazarene and Illinois Wesleyan.
