GREENVILLE, Ill. -Â After another dominant year in athletics, the Panthers have brought home their third consecutive SLIAC All-Sports Trophy. Greenville becomes just the second institution in conference history to win multiple All-Sports Trophies, finishing the year with an impressive average of 7.64 points.
Panther athletics captured 10 SLIAC conference championships during the 2025-26 season, highlighted by sweeps in both men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, as well as the institution's first-ever outright softball regular season title. Across 14 SLIAC sports, Greenville accumulated 107 total points.
Greenville earned regular season championships in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's indoor track and field, men's and women's outdoor track and field, and softball. Women's volleyball and softball also secured SLIAC Tournament Championship titles.
Individually, Panther student-athletes continued to excel. Greenville had 110 athletes receive SLIAC All-Conference honors, with seven athletes earning Player of the Year recognition and five being named Freshman of the Year. Additionally, seven Greenville coaching staffs were honored as Coaching Staff of the Year.
GU also experienced tremendous success in its non-SLIAC sports. Competing in the UMAC, both men's and women's tennis dominated the conference by claiming regular season championships and UMAC South Division Tournament titles. The men's tennis team went on to capture the UMAC Tournament Championship and earn an NCAA Tournament appearance. Greenville totaled 22 UMAC All-Conference honorees, along with three Player of the Year recipients and two Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
Panther gymnastics also delivered a historic season. The men's program captured its first-ever ECAC Championship title and qualified for the NCAA Championships as a team. The Panthers placed 10 athletes on All-Conference teams, while one athlete earned Athlete of the Year recognition. Kyler Hinson added to the historic campaign by earning CGA MVP honors at NCAA Nationals.
On the women's side, Amara Nelson turned in a standout season, capturing three All-American honors and being named NCGA Gymnast of the Year.
The Panthers close out the 2025-26 season with an extraordinary résumé filled with championships, awards, and historic accomplishments, continuing to cement Greenville's place among the premier athletic programs in the conference and beyond.
