TERRE HAUTE, Ind. & CANTON, Mo. - Over the weekend, the Panthers split the team, sending athletes to compete at the Culver-Stockton College Invite and the Indiana State Gibson Invitational. Greenville put together a series of solid performances across multiple events at both sites.
How it Happened:
At Culver Stockton, Britnee Lange led the charge in the field events, showcasing a 10th-place outing in the shot put and 11th in the discus.
On the track,
Lera Schmeink and Shairah Humphrey competed in the 100m dash, finishing with times of 13.23 and 13.65, respectively.
In the middle-distance events, Lola Schlarmann turned in a great effort in the 800m with a time of 2:38.52, while Katelyn Vogler followed with a time of 2:53.17.
In Terre Haute, Abby Weishaar led the Panthers on the track, running 12.95 in the 100m and 26.40 in the 200m. Norah Atkins turned in an impressive performance in the 800m, finishing with a time of 2:21.77.
The 4x1 relay team of Madison Kacevicius, Jada Richards, Gabby Weishaar, and Abby Weishaar worked together for a strong race, finishing with a time of 49.95.
In the field events, Madison Kacevicius earned an 8th-place finish in the long jump, while Rebekkah Yunck also placed 8th in the javelin.
With these strong performances, the Panthers continue to build momentum and improve this season.Â
