FILLMORE, Ill. – The Greenville men's golf team competed in a dual match against Blackburn at Indian Springs Golf Course, using the outing as a chance to continue building consistency early in the season. The Panthers ultimately fell 353-301, but had some strong showings from John Heater and
Ryan Jackson.
How it Happened:
Heater led the Panthers with a team-best 79, delivering a steady round to pace Greenville's lineup. Jackson followed with an 84, while Jose Zerpa added an 89 to round out the top three scorers.
Sam Molitor and
Ian Lohr shared the fourth spot, and additional rounds from
Carlos Ziesecke and
Cole Casburn completed the team effort.
Despite Blackburn claiming the team win, Greenville showed determination and gained valuable experience. The Panthers will look to build on these performances and continue improving as the season moves forward.
