Men's Golf

Men's golf returns with a win under their belt

EUREKA, Ill. – The Greenville men's golf team kicked off their return with a strong team victory on Sept. 19, defeating host Eureka 309-322 at Kaufman Park Golf Course. The Panthers relied on steady play throughout the lineup to outpace the Red Devils in the dual match.

How it Happened:

Leading the way was Aden Bass, who fired a brilliant round of 70, the lowest score of the day. His under-par ball striking set the tone for Greenville's success.

John Heater added a 77, while Jack Workman posted an 80 to keep the Panthers ahead. Ryan Jackson's solid 82 rounded out the team scoring, sealing Greenville's 13-stroke win.

While Eureka's Connor Scott (74) and Nolan Kerr (78) provided strong performances, Greenville's depth proved decisive. With four players in the low 80s or better, the Panthers demonstrated consistency and control across the course.

The victory highlights Greenville's momentum as the fall season continues.
