JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The women's track and field team took two event titles at the Illinois College Snow Bird Open with three other top-three finishers.
Jada Richards dominated in the triple jump to take first, and
Alivia Clayton claimed the top spot in the 3000m.
How it Happened:
Richards recorded an 11.44m leap in the triple jump for first, and took sixth in the 60m dash (8.19s).
Clayton ran an 11:38.59 in the 3000m to finish first, while
Katie Farrow soared 2.95m in the pole vault for third.
Jazmyn Harmon was impressive, placing third in the triple jump (10.93m) and sixth in the long jump (5.04m).
Greenville's 4x400 team posted a 4:12.52 for third place, and
Mia Bellegante and
Lydia Cahill both took fourth in their events.
Up Next:
The Panthers travel to Principia next weekend to compete on Friday and Saturday.
