BATESVILLE, Ark. – Greenville softball capped off a dominant regular season in emphatic fashion, sweeping Lyon in a conference doubleheader on Saturday to secure the SLIAC Regular Season Championship title.

The Panthers wasted no time in game one, using a balanced offensive attack to roll to a 10-2 victory.
Emma Longcor led the way with three hits and two runs scored, while
Emma Williams drove in four runs on a pair of key singles.
Kelsey Martlage added two RBIs, and
Anna Cox chipped in an RBI double as Greenville tallied 12 hits. In the circle,
Sarah Salas (10-3) earned the win, allowing just two runs over five innings.
Game two saw Greenville's offense reach another level, exploding for 14 runs in a 14-1 rout.
Makenna Budde delivered a historic performance, going 4-for-4 with three home runs and eight RBIs, including a grand slam in the fifth.
Cox added a home run and four RBIs of her own, while Longcor scored three times.
Lauren Kehl (6-2) was sharp in the circle, allowing just one unearned run on three hits.
With the sweep, Greenville clinches the conference title in convincing fashion, carrying momentum into postseason play behind one of the league's most potent lineups.
