COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The men's gymnastics team traveled to the Air Force Academy to compete in USAG Collegiate Nationals, where they placed 2nd out of six teams. The Panthers' consistent performance led them to their second-highest team score of the season with a 311.850.

How it Happened:
Greenville started their day on pommel horse, posting a team score of 52.700. Sophomore KylerHinson led the Panthers with a 13.500 and junior
Matthew Roth was just behind with a 13.400.

The Panthers continued that momentum on still rings (52.350) where junior
Sergey Popov's 13.550 earned him a third-place finish on the event.

Greenville's highest event team score of the day came on vault with a 54.450. Hinson was once again the team's top performer scoring a 14.000 and receiving a third-place finish. On the parallel bars, (51.750), junior
Jaxon Clapper claimed the event title with his impressive 13.850.

The Panthers finished out their day on high bar and floor exercise where they posted team scores of 48.800 and 51.800 respectively to earn the second-place team finish.

Hinson took second in the all-around competition with a score of 77.750.

Greenville will be off next weekend before competing for the ECAC conference title on April 4th.
