GREENVILLE, Ill. – The Greenville women's basketball team delivered a dominant performance Saturday afternoon on Senior Day, rolling past Eureka 81-48 inside H.J. Long Gymnasium. With the win, the Panthers improve to 9-16 overall and 8-8 in SLIAC play.
How it Happened:
Greenville set the tone early, exploding for 26 first-quarter points while holding Eureka to just eight. The Panthers shot an efficient 61 percent in the opening frame and never looked back, leading wire-to-wire.
Alyssa Seymour paced Greenville with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while Rylee Hipp provided a spark off the bench with 14 points and six rebounds.
Greenville dominated inside, outscoring Eureka 52-32 in the paint and winning the rebounding battle 52-37. The Panthers' depth was on full display, as the bench contributed 42 points in the convincing conference victory.
