Women's volleyball rolls past IC

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville volleyball continued its strong play Tuesday night, sweeping Illinois College (25-12, 25-18, 25-18) at H.J. Long Gymnasium. The Panthers moved to 10-6 on the season with a dominant all-around performance.

How it Happened:

Greenville's offense was in rhythm from the opening serve, finishing with a .333 hitting percentage. Elaina Evers powered the attack with eleven kills on .348 hitting, while Abby Grohmann added ten kills and three digs.

Kennedy Legendre and Lainey Hicks provided steady production at the net, combining for twelve kills at over a .400 clip.

Setter Emma Ratermann orchestrated the attack with 33 assists and chipped in three kills of her own.

Defensively, the Panthers were just as sharp. Mia deJesus led the blocking effort with five block assists, while Claudia Bonacorsi steadied the back row with eleven digs.

Greenville out-blocked the Lady Blues 12-8 and controlled every set, showcasing their dominance on the court.

The Panthers (10-6, 4-0 SLIAC) travel to Lyon for another conference tri, facing the Scots and MUW.
