ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Women's volleyball dominated Wednesday night, sweeping Webster in straight sets (25-7, 25-15, 25-23). The win moved the Panthers to 7-6 overall and 2-0 in SLIAC play.

How it Happened:

The Panthers started hot, hitting .556 in the opening set while holding Webster to a negative percentage.

Lainey Hicks was nearly unstoppable, putting down eight kills on a .700 clip.

Abby Grohmann led the attack with ten kills and three service aces, while Elaina Evers and Mia deJesus each chipped in six or more kills with strong efficiency.

Setter Emma Ratermann steered the offense with 37 assists and added two aces.

Defensively, Greenville out-dug the Gorloks 40-25 and controlled the net with five team blocks.

After cruising in the first two sets, Greenville showed resilience in a tight third, pulling away late to complete the sweep.
