TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Greenville women's cross country team delivered a solid team performance in Saturday's 6K race at Indiana State, finishing fifth out of eight teams with a total of 106 points.
How it Happened:
Leading the Panthers was
Alexis Martinez, who clocked a time of 24:38.60 to place 18th overall, setting the pace for Greenville's scoring group.
Norah Atkins followed closely behind in 26th place with a time of 25:24.00, while
Alivia Clayton crossed the line just seconds later at 25:31.70 for 27th place.
Lydia Cahill added to the strong pack running effort, placing 30th in 25:37.70, and
Natali Roth rounded out the top five with a 36th-place finish at 26:13.10.
The cohesive pack time and balanced scoring showed steady improvement for Greenville, as the Panthers continue to build momentum heading into the heart of their fall season.
