GREENVILLE, Ill. - The Greenville women's cross country team turned in a dominant performance to capture the team title at Saturday's 5K meet with a score of 38 points and a total time of 1:40:32. The Panthers placed all five scorers in the top 15, finishing well ahead of runner-up Lake Land College (92 points).
How it Happened:
Freshman
Alexis Martinez led the way for Greenville with a strong third-place finish in 19:25.3, followed closely by senior Norah Swinigan in sixth at 19:49.3.
Junior
Raven Vance crossed the line tenth (20:21.5), with freshman
Lydia Cahill right behind in eleventh (20:25.0).
Sophomore
Alivia Clayton rounded out the scoring in twelfth place with a time of 20:31.7.
Sophomore
Natali Roth (17th, 20:55.1) and sophomore
Chloe Aubuschon (19th, 21:01.7) added depth to Greenville's impressive showing.
