TERRE HAUTE, Ind. The Greenville men's cross country team turned in a competitive performance at Indiana State, placing fifth out of eight teams with a total of 138 points in the 8K race.
How it Happened:
Kaden Einhorn led the Panthers with a strong effort, finishing 18th overall in 27:43.00, pacing the team against a tough regional field.
Mason Clayton followed in 31st place with a time of 28:28.80, while
Kyle Cooley crossed the line in 29:34.40 to secure Greenville's third scoring position.
Luis Zavala was close behind at 29:38.50, and
Chris Bandy rounded out the Panthers' top five with a 29:48.40 finish.
Greenville will look to build on this momentum in their next meet as they continue preparing for conference competition.
