GREENVILLE, Ill. - The Greenville men's cross country team delivered a solid performance on their home course, placing fifth overall at the Greenville Classic with 114 points and a total team time of 2:24:50. The Panthers averaged 28:58 per runner in the competitive 8K race.
How it Happened:
Freshman
Kaden Einhorn led the Panthers with an impressive fourth-place finish, clocking 26:45.7.
Sophomore
Mason Clayton followed closely in 11th at 27:34.9, while sophomore
Luis Zavala ran a strong race to take 22nd in 28:54.9.
Sophomore
Chris Bandy crossed in 33rd (29:35.3), and sophomore Drew Thomason rounded out the scoring in 58th at 32:00.1.
Additional Greenville finishers included
Tyler Johnson (33:24.9, 66th),
Jacob Beatte (34:29.4, 71st), and
Reign Bateman (34:33.3, 72nd).
