FULTON, Mo. – Greenville women's soccer capped off a remarkable regular season by earning a 1–1 draw at Westminster (MO) on Wednesday evening, securing the SLIAC regular season championship. The Panthers displayed composure, organization, and grit in a match that showcased why they sit atop the conference standings.
How it Happened:
1st Half
Greenville came out confident, controlling possession through the midfield and creating several promising chances. 
Allyson Schulz and 
Angie Russo each threatened early, forcing Westminster's defense to stay compact.
The Panthers' back line, anchored by 
Madison Ashford in goal, handled several counterattacks to keep the score 0–0 at halftime.
2nd Half
Just two minutes after the restart, 
Jordyn Smith opened the scoring off a crisp assist from 
Peyton Turner, finishing low to the far post for a 1–0 lead.
Westminster responded quickly to level the match, but Greenville continued pressing for a winner with late efforts from 
Katelyn Christensen and 
Jordyn Smith narrowly missing the frame.

Greenville (10-7-1, 7-0-1 SLIAC) enters the SLIAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed. With a first-round bye this weekend, the Panthers will host both the semifinal and final rounds of the tournament at Francis Field.
