GREENVILLE, Ill. – Greenville women's soccer dominated from start to finish in a commanding 12-0 home win over Eureka on Wednesday night. The Panthers jumped out quickly and never slowed down, showcasing balanced scoring and crisp passing.
How it Happened:
1st Half
Greenville opened the scoring in the 3rd minute as
Allyson Schulz finished a slick assist from
Angie Russo. Russo then scored herself in the 5th minute before setting up Schulz again at 11 minutes.
Dillyn Baer added a goal in the 21st minute assisted by
Ashlie Johnston Cabral.
Maddie Cooke and Kylie Petroski followed with quick goals.
Cooke added another goal, assisted by
Ashlyn Wuebbels to give Greenville a 7-0 halftime lead.
2nd Half
In the 58th minute, Cabral found the net after a smooth assist from
Katelyn Christensen to make it 8-0.
Just two minutes later,
Jordyn Smith tacked on another goal with a strong finish from the top of the box.
In the 76th minute,
Avery Rahden converted off a clean pass from
Ava Pollard. Moments later, Petroski scored twice in under three minutes. First off a setup from
Kristie Kregel, then again following a perfectly placed assist from
Mia Long. Capping an explosive finish for Greenville.
