COLUMBIA, Miss. – The Greenville women's soccer team dominated on the road Saturday afternoon, defeating MUW 5–0 in a commanding performance that showcased their depth and offensive firepower.
How it Happened:
1st Half
Greenville jumped out early with
Jordyn Smith opening the scoring in the 7th minute.
The Panthers maintained steady pressure, creating multiple scoring chances and controlling possession.
Just before the half, freshman Kylie Petroski doubled Greenville's lead with a well-placed finish in the 29th minute.
The defense stayed organized, limiting MUW's offensive threats.
2nd Half
The Panthers continued their dominance after halftime.
Ashlie Johnston Cabral scored twice, first in the 59th minute off a precise assist from Smith and
Katelyn Christensen, then again in the 63rd minute.
Smith added her second goal of the match in the 62nd minute, assisted by
Allyson Schulz, putting the game well out of reach.
Greenville's balanced attack and stout defense earned a comprehensive conference road win.
