Women's golf has first home match since its return

FILLMORE, Ill. – The Greenville women's golf team took to the course at Indian Springs Golf Course on Wednesday, competing in a dual match against Blackburn. While the Panthers fell 438-411, the outing gave Greenville's young roster meaningful experience and confidence to build upon.

How it Happened:

Kennedy Legendre led the Panthers with a team-low 104, showing steady play throughout her round.

She was followed closely by Greenlee Dust at 106 and Morgan Alexander at 110, both of whom contributed solid scores for Greenville's lineup.

Cortney Brummer rounded out the team scoring with a 118, giving the Panthers four consistent efforts on the day.

Though Blackburn's top two finishers set the tone with rounds in the 80s, Greenville demonstrated grit and improvement across its lineup. With continued development, the Panthers are poised to lower their scores and strengthen their competitiveness as the season progresses.

The Panthers sit at 0-2 on the season.
