EUREKA, Ill. - In a close conference matchup, Greenville fell 72-57 to the Eureka Red Devils despite a strong effort on the boards.
How it Happened:
Greenville dominated the glass, out-rebounding Eureka 39-38, led by Cortney Brummer's ten rebounds.
However, the Panthers' thirty-two turnovers were a glaring issue, allowing Eureka to pull away in the fourth quarter.
Carolina Hoffman led Greenville with twelve points, adding three rebounds and two steals.
Savana Powell-Goodman chipped in eleven points, including 4-for-4 shooting from the free-throw line.
The Panthers persisted, especially in a competitive third quarter, but couldn't surpass Eureka.
