LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The women's basketball team opened its SLIAC season dominantly, defeating Spalding 67-46. The Panthers pulled away with consistent scoring in each quarter and stifling defense throughout.

Alyssa Seymour anchored Greenville's attack, tallying fifteen points and five rebounds while shooting an impressive seven-of-eight from the free-throw line.
Carolina Hoffman stuffed the stat sheet with twelve points, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals, while Natalie Iberg chipped in eleven points.
The Panthers' bench made a significant impact as well, led by Baylie Joiner's eight points and eight rebounds.
Greenville's defensive effort was key, holding Spalding to just 27.3% shooting from the field. The Panthers controlled the glass with 46 rebounds and converted 82.8% of their free-throw attempts.
