GREENVILLE, Ill. – The Greenville women's gymnastics team earned a narrow victory over Centenary on Friday night, defeating the Ladies 188.050-187.875 on Senior Day.

How it Happened:
Greenville opened the meet on vault with a team score of 47.700.
Amara Nelson led the Panthers with a 9.725, while
Ellery Gilmer added a 9.600 and
Reese Clapper posted a 9.575.

On bars, Greenville totaled 45.625, highlighted by three seniors. Nelson posted a 9.400 to once again lead the Panthers, while
Madison Carter and
Madison Ford scored matching 9.300s.

The Panthers rebounded on beam, scoring a 46.825. Nelson once again paced the lineup with a 9.575 while
Olivia Tocco and Bella Feltman each contributed scores of 9.500.

Greenville closed the meet strong on floor with its highest event total of the night, scoring 47.900. Nelson delivered a 9.825, while Gilmer added a 9.800 to help secure the Panthers' victory.

Nelson also claimed the all-around title with a 38.525, leading Greenville to the team win in front of the home crowd.

Amara Nelson will travel to SUNY Cortland next weekend to compete at Division III Nationals as an individual in the all-around.
