HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Greenville women's tennis team concluded its spring break trip Wednesday, falling 5-0 to Randolph.

How it Happened:
Randolph gained an early advantage by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead. The Panthers battled in the top doubles position, but
Lanie Carder and
Lily Gregory fell just short in a 7-5 decision on Court No. 1.

In singles play, Randolph secured the match by winning the top four courts. On Court No. 1,
Lanie Carder pushed her opponent to a third-set match tiebreak before falling 3-6, 7-6 (9-7), 1-0 (11-9) in a tightly contested battle.

Randolph also claimed victories on Courts No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 to seal the team result.
Elena Warren and Evie Johnson were still competing in their matches at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions when play was halted due to darkness.
