BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Greenville men's tennis team traveled to Bloomington to face Olivet Nazarene and Illinois Wesleyan, earning a pair of 5-2 victories on the day.

Against Olivet Nazarene, Greenville secured wins on courts No. 2 and No. 3 to narrowly clinch the doubles point and take an early 1-0 lead.

In singles play,
Jean Sanabria delivered a key victory on court No. 1, battling back for a 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-4) win. Sophomore
Jade Dynamic also earned a three-set victory, coming out on top 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 1-0 (10-8). FreshmenÂ
Noah Garcia Barlagne and
Patrick Nobbe, sealed the team win with victories on courts No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.

Greenville carried that momentum into its matchup with Illinois Wesleyan, sweeping doubles play to once again take a 1-0 advantage.

Colton Hulme earned a straight-set victory on court No. 2, 6-3, 7-5. Additional wins on courts No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 secured the 5-2 team victory for the Panthers.
