GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville put together one of its most complete offensive performances of the season, rolling past Blackburn 124–110 on Wednesday night at H.J. Long Gymnasium. The Panthers scored 62 points in each half and improved to 4–4 in SLIAC play in front of a lively crowd.
How it Happened:
Greenville set the tone early, shooting over 40 percent in the first half and knocking down 10 three-pointers to build a 62–51 halftime lead. The Panthers never let up after the break, matching Blackburn basket for basket while extending the margin behind balanced scoring and relentless pressure.
Tim Lofton led the way with a season-high 24 points, while Taiemm Comeaux added 20 points and eight rebounds.
Joshua Williford chipped in 17 points, and
Brandon Tully drained five three-pointers for 15 points. Greenville's depth proved decisive, outscoring Blackburn's bench 71–45 and turning turnovers into 38 points.
With strong rebounding and consistent scoring from all angles, the Panthers controlled the pace throughout and secured an impressive conference victory on their home floor.
