COLUMBIA, S.C. - The women's track and field team was named the 2025 NCCAA Outdoor Champions after landing on top in a pool of 25 teams. The Panthers collected 123.5 points to take first, bringing home five event titles.
How it Happened:
The Panthers picked up titles in the 100m hurdles, 4x100 relay, hammer, shot put, and pole vault.
TyKiaza Jones placed first in the 100m hurdles with a 14.32 and also contributed to the 4x100 win (47.75).
Talahiva Talanoa took the title in the hammer throw (52.76m) and shot put (12.99m) while placing third in discus (40.56m).
In the pole vault, Kenzie Kurdys landed in first with a 3.65m vault.
Gretchen Carie competed in the 3000m steeplechase and took second (11:30.57).
Anna Beth Vancil represented in the high jumping, posting a 1.62m for the bronze.
Taking third in the 400m, Taylor Tucker ran a 57.66. Tucker also contributed to the second-place finish of the 4x400 team (4:00.51).

The Panthers will run at the Augustana (Ill.) meet on Wednesday before heading to the NCAA DIII Nationals.
