GREENVILLE, Ill. - The powerlifting team hosted its first-ever home meet, naming it the I-70 Open (Powerlifting America). Seniors Keeghan Daughhetee and Angela Lawson competed and took first in their weight classes!

How it Happened:

Daughhetee took first in the 84kg weight class with a 57.5kg squat, 37.5kg bench, and a 102.5kg deadlift. She totaled 197.5kg!

Lawson competed in the 57kg weight class, taking the gold with a 65kg squat, 32.5kg bench, and a 90kg deadlift. Lawson totaled 187.5kg.
