GREENVILLE, Ill. - The softball team is killing it in conference right now, sitting at 10-2 with recent wins against Spalding and Westminster. The Panthers swept Westminster in a mid-week doubleheader, while splitting with Spalding on Friday.

How it Happened:

Westminster Series:

The Panthers struck early in game one, scoring twice in the first and adding another in the third.

Ashlyn Colvis drove in two runs, including a sacrifice fly, while Sydnee Garrett (2-for-3) added an RBI.

Melissa Bernal improved to 10-0, tossing a complete game five-hitter with four strikeouts.

In game two, Greenville exploded for ten runs in the first inning, sparked by Emma Williams' 3-RBI triple and Natalee Moore's three-RBI single.

The Panthers collected twelve hits, led by Garrett's 3-for-4, two-RBI performance.

Destiny Dunlap improved to 8-0, tossing four solid innings. Westminster plated three in the third but couldn't recover.

Spalding Series:

In game one, Greenville saw a narrow lead unravel in the seventh inning, falling 8-3 to Spalding.

Despite a strong start and a 2-2 tie through the sixth, the Panthers surrendered six runs in the final frame.
