GREENVILLE, Ill. — Softball opened SLIAC play with a dominant 6-0 win over the visiting Webster Gorloks in game one and short-gamed them 8-0 in game two.

Offensively, Greenville broke the scoreless tie in the third inning with an RBI double from Madi Case, who later scored on a wild pitch. Case finished with two hits and two RBIs.
Ashlyn Colvis added a sacrifice fly in the fourth to make it 4-0, and Natalee Moore's two-run double in the sixth capped the scoring.
Josie Grunloh led the Panthers with three hits and two runs.
Game 2:
The Panthers exploded for four runs in the first inning and never looked back, powered by an 11-hit offensive outburst.
Moore ignited the offense with a two-run triple in the opening frame, while Sydnee Garrett added two RBIs, including a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
Valerie Greenley and Moore sparked the offense, both going 2-for-3.
Destiny Dunlap earned the win in the circle, scattering four hits over five shutout innings while striking out two.
