NORMAN, Okla. - The men's gymnastics team collected their highest score of the season at their meet against Oklahoma and Stanford. The Panthers posted a 308.800 to earn third place with Jaxon Clapper receiving ECAC Gymnast of the Week after this outing.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Floor Highlights (53.450):
Clapper earned marks of 13.850 to place fifth in floor, while Ethan Poole followed him with a 13.600, finishing sixth.
Braydon Erickson was right behind them with a 13.500.
Pommel Horse Highlights (51.700):
Andres Esquivel led the Panthers in pommel, posting a 13.500 for sixth place.
Matthew Roth followed with 13.050.
Rings Highlights (51.100):
Poole was the top Panther again, collecting a 13.350 on rings.
Ricky Mays posted a 12.900 with his performance.
Vault Highlights (53.400):
Mays excelled in vault, tying for third with a 14.100.
Clapper's routine earned a 13.850 to take seventh.
Parallel Bars Highlights (50.450):
Receiving a 13.350, Donovan Diviney and Clapper led in the P-Bars with a tie at seventh.
High Bar Highlights (49.700):
Jacob Foster and Diviney were the top Panthers in the high bar, taking eighth and ninth place. Foster collected a 12.900 and Diviney posted a 12.650.
