TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Greenville battled throughout but couldn't overcome a strong shooting night from Rose-Hulman, falling 75–50 on the road Wednesday. Despite the final margin, the Panthers showed fight, particularly with a late offensive surge and a deep bench that delivered 40 points.
How it Happened:
Baylie Joiner provided a major bright spot, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the field and finishing with eight points and seven rebounds.
Trinity Wade added six points, while
Maddi Basterretxea and
Adeline Goheen chipped in five each to help stabilize the offense. Greenville found rhythm in the fourth quarter, shooting 53% and attacking the paint aggressively.
Defensively, the Panthers forced seven steals and held their own on the glass with a 36–34 rebounding edge, highlighted by Joiner's and
Cortney Brummer's grabs.
Though the Engineers controlled the early scoring runs, Greenville's resilience and bench production continue to show promise.
