LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Greenville volleyball team clinched the 2025 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) regular season title on Saturday, sweeping its final tri-match with wins over Westminster (3–1) and Spalding (3–0).
How it Happened:
The Panthers opened the day with a redeeming four-set victory over Westminster, taking the match 25–15, 21–25, 25–21, 28–26 to secure first place in the conference standings.
Elaina Evers and
Abby Grohmann led the attack with 16 and 17 kills respectively, while setter
Emma Ratermann fueled the offense with 46 assists and added nine digs.
Kennedy Legendre contributed 10 kills and four blocks as Greenville hit an impressive .299 in the win.
Greenville then dominated Spalding in straight sets (25–17, 25–14, 25–17) to seal the title.
Grohmann again starred with 10 kills and two aces, while Ratermann dished out 26 assists and guided the Panthers to a .316 team hitting percentage.
With the victories, Greenville captured another SLIAC regular season crown and will enter the conference tournament as the top seed.
