LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Despite a tough 102–87 road loss at Spalding on Tuesday night, Greenville showed resilience, depth, and an up-tempo attack that refused to back down. After trailing 52–33 at halftime, the Panthers stormed out with renewed energy, pouring in 54 second-half points and pushing the pace to keep pressure on the Golden Eagles throughout.

How it Happened:

Elijah Goad led the surge with 17 points, knocking down big threes and attacking the rim to spark Greenville's offense.

Brandon Tully added 13 points and four rebounds, while Jackson Gurgel chipped in 11 points—all from beyond the arc—providing timely perimeter shooting.

The Panthers' bench was particularly impressive, combining for 69 points as players like Tim Lofton (11 points, six rebounds) and Elliot Mobley (six points, five boards) delivered productive minutes.

Greenville forced 20 steals and turned Spalding over 35 times, showcasing the defensive intensity that fuels their system. Though the comeback fell short, the Panthers' depth and relentless pace offer plenty of promise as they move forward in SLIAC play.
