Football closes out season against Crown on Senior Day

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville closed out its season with Senior Day, rallying in the second half but ultimately falling 38–20 to conference champion, Crown, on a sun-soaked Saturday at Francis Field. In front of a large home crowd, the Panthers honored their seniors with a gritty performance that showed fight until the final whistle.

How it Happened:

After falling behind 28–0 by halftime, Greenville found its spark through standout running back Terrel Graves, who delivered a phenomenal performance. Graves broke loose for two touchdown runs of 36 and 21 yards, finishing with 135 rushing yards on 21 carries and setting the tone for Greenville's second-half surge.

Quarterback Wyatt Kile added a four-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter as the Panthers outscored Crown 20–10 after halftime. Greenville's defense also tightened, led by Elias Velasquez's 13 tackles and strong backfield pressure from RJ King and Samual Tillman, who combined for 4.5 tackles for loss.

Despite the early deficit, Greenville's determination energized the home crowd and highlighted the leadership of its senior class. The Panthers closed the season showing the grit, growth, and togetherness that have defined their 2025 campaign—finishing Senior Day with pride and momentum for the future.
