TERRE HAUTE, Ind.- The men's tennis team traveled to Rose-Hulman on Saturday, narrowly falling 4-3 in a tightly contested match.
How it Happened:
The Panthers fought hard in doubles play but ultimately dropped the opening point after close battles on all three courts to start their day.
In singles action, they bounced back with strong performances on courts #3, #4, and #6.
Sophomore
Jade Dynamic battled through a back-and-forth contest, pulling out a 6-2, 0-6, 10-3 victory.
Fellow sophomore
Francisco Trujillo followed with a steady win at #4 singles. Freshman
Patrick Nobbe, showed resilience in a tight match at the #6 spot, winning 6-3, 2-6, 10-8 to secure another point for the Panthers.
Despite the narrow loss, the Panthers showed resilience and promise across the lineup, highlighting their potential heading into the spring season.
