GREENVILLE, Ill. – The men's soccer team put on a show on Homecoming Saturday, earning a commanding 4–1 win over Spalding University at Francis Field. The Panthers showcased sharp passing, relentless energy, and timely finishes to secure an impressive result in front of a lively home crowd.

How it Happened:

1st Half

Greenville came out energized, creating early pressure and setting the tone with quick ball movement. In the 7th minute, Ben Wilcoxen put the Panthers ahead, finishing a well-placed assist from Andres Garcia. After Spalding briefly equalized, Greenville responded just 12 minutes later when Izan Gonzalez Rivera finished a smooth setup from William Carlson Webb to restore Greenville's lead at 2–1 heading into halftime.

2nd Half

The Panthers continued to dominate possession after the break. In the 67th minute, Garcia extended the lead with a composed finish off a setup from Bence Nagy. Greenville sealed the victory in the 84th minute as Juan Fernandez found the back of the net, capping off a thrilling Homecoming performance. Goalkeeper Dominick Messer anchored the defense with several key saves to preserve the win.
