GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's basketball team showcased grit in a close 94-84 victory over Spalding on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:

The Panthers stormed to a 60-32 halftime lead, fueled by Grimmett Glenn's long-range sharpshooting and a relentless defensive effort that generated eighteen steals.

Glenn led the team with eighteen points, including five from the arc. 

Kiarie Patrick was pivotal off the bench, tallying sixteen points and six rebounds, while Ja'Rod Webb also added sixteen points, including four three-pointers.

Greenville's relentless energy on the boards was crucial, as they dominated second-chance opportunities with twenty-three offensive rebounds.

Despite the comfortable halftime cushion, Spalding roared back in the second half. However, Greenville's defense held strong, forcing thirty-five turnovers to keep the Golden Eagles at bay.
