Men's basketball powers past Westminster

FULTON, Mo. - The men's basketball team stormed past Westminster (Mo.) in a thrilling 115-102 victory on Wednesday evening. 

How it Happened:

The Panthers set the tone early, racing to a 58-43 halftime lead behind a flurry of fast breaks and second-chance points.

Grimmett Glenn led the charge with twenty-six points, hitting six three-pointers, while Ja'Rod Webb provided a spark off the bench with seventeen points.

Vincent Rodriguez showcased his all-around game, contributing fourteen points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Greenville's aggressive rebounding was pivotal, as the team collected an impressive thirty-six offensive boards, contributing to their overall seventy rebounds. 

Defensively, Greenville's high-pressure tactics forced twenty-three turnovers, disrupting Westminster's rhythm despite a strong second-half effort from the Blue Jays. The Panthers' depth and tempo proved too much, as their bench contributed 41 points.

With this win, GU climbs to number two in the conference rankings.
