GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's basketball team lit up the scoreboard in their past two games, outlasting the Lyon Scots and the Eureka Red Devils in front of their home crowd. Both were tight matchups, but the Panthers came out on top, defeating Lyon 121-116 and Eureka 124-114. 

How it Happened:

Game 1 vs. Lyon:

Greenville came out firing, pouring in sixty-seven first-half points to build a commanding fourteen-point lead at halftime.

Kiarie Patrick led the way for Greenville with seventeen points and four rebounds, while Tahj Comeaux delivered fourteen points and key defensive rebounds late in the game.

Ja'Rod Webb added a spark with sixteen points, including four three-pointers, as the Panthers capitalized on their outside shooting, hitting fifteen threes.

Greenville's depth proved decisive, with contributions from players like Vincent Rodriguez (ten points, five steals) and Brandon Tully (twelve points). 

Game 2 vs. Eureka:

GU's relentless offensive attack and aggressive defense proved too much for Eureka, as the Panthers shot 41.0% from the field and capitalized on nineteen steals to create fast-break opportunities.

The Panthers set the tone early, building a 65-58 halftime lead and maintaining their high-energy play to secure the win.

Isaiah Griffin led Greenville with sixteen points, while Rodriguez contributed fourteen points and seven rebounds.

Patrick was instrumental, filling the stat sheet with twelve points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
