Men's basketball is on a roll after beating Blackburn and Webster

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's basketball team continues their winning streak after two recent wins against Blackburn and Webster. The Panthers outpaced the Beavers 112-100 and snuck past the Gorloks 119-115. 

How it Happened:

Game 1 vs. Blackburn

The Panthers controlled the game from the tip-off, building a commanding 64-42 lead by halftime.

Teamwork and sharpshooting were on full display, with Grimmett Glenn spearheading the offense by scoring eighteen points, including six three-pointers that lit up the arena.

Tim Lofton's double-double (fourteen points, eleven rebounds) provided a solid inside presence.

Greenville's offensive precision and unyielding defense forced Blackburn into twenty-nine turnovers with Isaiah Griffin leading with five steals. 

Game 2 vs. Webster

Greenville protected their home court in dramatic fashion, leaning on explosive scoring and a deep roster to secure the victory.

Greenville stormed to a 64-53 halftime lead, fueled by relentless pace and perimeter shooting. Despite Webster's second-half surge, Greenville managed to come out on top. 

Vincent Rodriguez was the star of the night for Greenville, dropping twenty-seven points, including five three-pointers, and dishing out five assists.

Kiarie Patrick anchored the interior with a dominant nineteen-point, twelve-rebound performance, while Ja'Rod Webb added thirteen points.

The Panthers showed dominance on the boards, grabbing thirty-four offensive rebounds and fifty-six in total.
