Indianola, Iowa - The women's gymnastics team opened up their 2025 season with a tri-meet against Simpson and Winona State. Greenville placed third with a score of 185.025, bringing home a first-place title in the uneven bars.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Panthers racked up their best scores of the meet on floor and vault, collecting a 46.950 on each, and followed it with a 45.700 performance on the uneven bars and a 45.425 on the balance beam.
Floor Highlights:
Ellery Gilmer led the Panthers with a 9.600-point floor routine, tying for fourth place.
Amara Nelson posted a 9.450, and Isabella Feltman followed with a 9.400.
Vault Highlights:
Nelson recorded a 9.675 on vault to take second place, while Rachel Miller received fifth place with her 9.550 performance.
Gilmer and Ashlie Leage tied for seventh place, scoring a 9.450.
Uneven Bars Highlights:
Earning first place and breaking a school record for the event, Leage posted a 9.700 on the uneven bars.
Madison Carter followed with a fourth-place finish with a score of 9.350.
Balance Beam Highlights:
Nelson was the top Panther in the beam, posting a 9.600 for fourth place.
Carter was next in line with a 9.200 at seventh.
All-Around:
Nelson competed all-around and landed in first with her 37.350 showing.
