HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The women's tennis team opened their spring break trip with a 5-4 win over Coe.

Greenville needed its perfect sweep in the three doubles matches to hold on for the team win.

The No. 1 doubles team of Irlanda Oliver and Callie Adkins and the No. 2 duo of Addison Brannon and Lanie Carder took 8-3 wins.

The No. 3 doubles unit of Evie Johnson and Stephanie Kamp delivered an 8-5 win.

In singles, GU received wins from No. 1 Oliver and No. 3 Carder. Oliver and Carder each recorded 6-4, 6-0 victories.

The Panthers (5-2) will play LeTourneau and Messiah on Tuesday.
