HOLLAND, Mich. – The women's volleyball team's impressive season came to an end Thursday night as they fell to the number two-ranked Hope College squad in three straight sets (25-7, 25-16, 25-18). The Panthers, who finished the season 21-10, fought hard but struggled to find their rhythm against the high-powered Flying Dutch.

How it Happened:

Anna Beth Vancil led Greenville with six kills, while Elaina Evers added five.

Setter Emma Ratermann contributed fifteen assists and eleven digs, showcasing her all-around effort.

Defensively, Lucia Garcia and Ratermann fought for the team lead with ten and eleven digs, respectively, but Greenville struggled to counter Hope's efficient attack and tough serving.

Serving from Ratermann, Abby Grohmann, and Brooke-Lynn Mapa stood out as they all collected some aces. Ratermann and Grohmann posted one each, and Mapa sent two over.

Despite the loss, the Panthers had a successful campaign, highlighted by a 14-2 record in the SLIAC, a regular season champion title, and a tournament championship title.
