MORRIS, Minn.- The football team overwhelmed the Minnesota-Morris Cougars with a commanding 42-27 victory.
How it Happened:
The Panthers struck early, taking a 7-0 lead with a 2-yard touchdown pass from Max Lynch to Terrance Brown. By halftime, Greenville extended their lead to 28-0, highlighted by Lynch's 12-yard rushing touchdown and Adrian Hinton's two rushing scores.
Minnesota-Morris managed to rally in the second half, scoring three touchdowns. However, it was too late as Greenville's strong start proved insurmountable. Lynch had an impressive game, completing 16 of 19 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns, while Hinton added 83 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
On defense, Kourtland Harris dominated with nine tackles. Gabriel Stravers collected two sacks, helping the Panthers to victory.
