GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's soccer team received a winning goal from Gabriel Lima in the 53rd minute to capture a 1-0 victory over Webster on Saturday afternoon in their Homecoming match at Francis Field.

After being outshot 9-7 in the first half, the Panthers jumped on top in the second with Lima's goal. 

Greenville dominated the second half, outshooting the Gorloks 12-4. Benn Jane also did well offensively with three shots. 

Jaime Sainz was in the net again for the Panthers and had three saves. 

Greenville picked up their third conference win on Saturday, currently ranking them fourth in the SLIAC.

The Panthers (7-6-4, 3-1-4 SLIAC) will travel to Washington-St. Louis for a match on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
