GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's tennis team won their second match of the fall season with an 7-2 triumph against Illinois College.

The No. 1 doubles team of Mireia Birosta and Addison Brannon earned a near-perfect 8-1 win.

Callie Adkins and Natalia Higashi collected an 8-2 win in No. 2 doubles.

GU won five flights of singles.  No. 1 Birosta, and No. 2 Addison Brannon only gave up three games in their straight sets wins.  No. 4 Callie Adkins was a 6-4, 6-2 winner.

No. 5 Higashi and No. 6 Sarah Brannon worked hard to take a third set tiebreak win.

The Panthers (2-1) host Loras and Webster on Saturday in Greenville.
